I used to have a goldfish a long time ago, for several years. His name was Montegue, and he would let me pet him.
All you people whom have to write explanations to, I say stick it in your ear. Let the person reading the strip figure out their own explanation.
Pre-explanation...Dolly caught her brother "petting the fish" (i.e. with his hand in the fish bowl) and, like all good older siblings, wants to get him in trouble. So she "rats him out" by "asking a question." See...anyone can write out a lame explanation of a comic. But a picture is worth a thousand words (or explanations). It's just that the words are annoying.
