Both I and whoever posted before me deserve a chance to speak our minds as much as anybody. The Keanes continue their startling series of critiques on society by showing the trend in modern culture of only figureheads of seniority being blamed for catastrophic mistakes. The mother's gaze on Billy and ignoring of PJ makes it clear she fits into this neatly. The humour comes from the satire being accurately scaled down to a household interaction between children and their mother.
