part of the D.A.R.E. slogan was 'hugs not drugs'! But I guess this principle realized if all of his kids liked each other and got along, he would never get in the news like that! Well, he made it for being a PCAH!

I agree with all the previous posts. We should be supporting activities that promote kindness, gentleness, and compassion among our young people. You never know who you might meet in the hall who needs a little reminder that he/she is not alone in the world. I hope the principal will change his mind.

I agree Izzy. Sometimes we go through a rough patch and just need a hug.

Wow, talk about PC policies run amok! That's ridiculous, and a waste of time. If the kids want to hug, let them hug each other--as long as they are not late for class, what's the harm? This is totally idiotic.
