Cult leader charged with starving toddler
Charged with murder in warrants were cult leader Toni Ellsberry, 40, also known as Queen Antoinette, and three other members of the group, the 1 Mind Ministries, described by authorities as a Christian fundamentalist cult, the Baltimore Sun reported Tuesday.
Ria Ramkissson, 21, has already been charged in the death of her son, 21-month-old Javon Thompson, whose body was found hidden in a suitcase in Philadelphia. Police say the toddler incurred the wrath of Ellsberry and other cult members because he refused to say "amen" when the group gathered at its West Baltimore home for meals. Ellsberry allegedly labeled the boy "a demon" and assured his mother he would be raised from the dead, the newspaper said.
Authorities say Javon probably died in December 2006 and two months later the group fled to Philadelphia, taking the boy's body in a green suitcase with wheels. Police found Javon's body in a shed behind a Philadelphia house in May 2007, the Sun reported.

This 18 month old child could not know right from wrong. This minister/and mother tried to take away the free will God has granted every single person on this planet by trying to force him to speak what they wanted and then starved him to death when he did not comply. People you are not God, you do not have any rights except those that He has given to all of mankind. Normally I believe in showing mercy, except for the grace of God there go I. In this instance I believe an eye for an eye would be the right thing, including the mother. Allowng them to starve to death for starving to death a child is very ok with me. They can not say they did it because of their religion and it be ok. The proof of this the fact they left the state and went into hiding when the child died.

let the punishment fit
the punishment should fit the crime and then God can exact his measure against the distorters of his word, I am insulted that this group be called a Christian fundamentalist group, there was nothing christian about starving a 21 month old child to death, that just plain sickens me,
