Sorry to hear about your loss, Oscar & Jasmines Mummy. It is just awful to lose your loved pets, no matter the circumstances. We have 5 cats here.... three boys, 2 and 3 years old that were raised together so they all get along well, a fraidy cat 11 year old lady and the new guy Gus who's 3 but new to us and not happy here yet :( Thanks for your comments :)

They look so happy together. Its nice to see two cats like this when they are the same sex and unrelated. Unfortunately, our males never formed a close bond like this, although our Oscar loved his 'harem' of seven ladies when we lived in our other house. We only have two cats these days, which seems very quiet by our standards, but I was only allowed to take two cats with me when I was made homeless owing to my husbands redundancy after thirty years with the same firm!! I rehomed all the other cats in pairs. We lost one of old age a few months prior to this.
