what pretty dogs!!! i'm glad you rescued adopted casey from a shelter. we have a yellow/golden named dakota we rescued her from the humane society. she was abandoned her and her 2 brothers were left in an abandoned house. they were only 3 months old. we also adoped a german shep that was abused we got her through a friend. the shep gretta and the yellow/golden dakota became real close. they are like big sis little sis. i am so glad we have them both. my husband got me dakota after our other two dogs died of canser in the same year. dakota was a b-day gift 2 years ago they are on this site together laying in the grass.

Casey and Cooper

These two have been best buddies since they first met. Both rescued from a kill shelter and both were heartworm positive. Both were throw aways! Casey the Golden was so scared to be left outside without a person. I would have to stand there while he emptied because he was afraid I would close the door and never let him in again. So I know he was dumped. Cooper came along after we had Casey and they became best friends right away, so even though he was only supposed to be a foster, we could never separate them. Cooper and Casey enjoy pulling on their toys together and Cooper being the smart one will keep twirling, so Casey cannot get hold of the toy. Casey was chosen by us when the shelter was doing a special adoption day, only five days after losing two of our other dogs. Casey brought happiness back into our lives. Please adopt and don't buy while shelter pets die!
