That will lead us up to what should White now do in the diagrammed position? 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bb5 Nf6 4.0–0 Nxe4 5.d4 Nd6 6.dxe5 Nxb5 7.a4 Nd6? 8.Bg5 f6 9.Re1!! fxg5 10.exd6+ Ne7 11.Ne5 cxd6 12.Qh5+ g6 13.Nxg6 Qa5 14.Nxh8+ Kd8 15.Nc3 Qf5 16.Nb5 Ng6 and now White played 17.Qxg5+ and Black Resigned because of 17...Be7 (17...Qxg5 18.Nf7#) 18.Qxf5 Ne5 19.Qxh7 Bg5 20.Qg8+ Ke7 21.Qf7+ Kd8 22.Qf8#
