Euwe-Van dem Bosch, Amsterdam, 1934: 1.Nxg7 Kxg7 2.Bxh6+ Kxh6 3.Rh5+ A little shorter and more prosaic was 3.Qe3+ Kg7 4.Qg5+ Kh7 5.Qh4+ Kg7 6.Qg4+ Kf6 (6...Kh7 7.Rh5#) 7.Qg5#, but Euwe understandably wanted spectacular that day! 3...Kxh5 4.Qh7+ Kg5 5.Qg7+ Kf5 6.g4+ Ke6 7.Qe5+ Kd7 8.Rc7+ Kd8 9.Qe7#
