The game was Walkerling-Hanssen: 1.e4 c5 2.Nf3 e6 3.d4 cxd4 4.Nxd4 Nf6 5.Nc3 Bb4 6.e5 Nd5 7.Qg4 g6 Better would have been 7...Nxc3 8.Qxg7 Rf8 9.a3 Nb5+ 10.axb4 Nxd4 11.Bh6 Qe7 12.Bd3 Nbc6 13.c3 Nf5 14.Bxf5 exf5 15.0–0 Nd8 16.Qxf8+ Qxf8 17.Bxf8 Kxf8 18.Rfd1 and White has quite a bind on the Black position.8.a3 Qa5 (See Diagram) 9.axb4 Qxa1 White wins a minor piece if 9...Qxb4 10.Ra4 Qb6 11.Nf5!! exf5 12.Nxd5 fxg4 13.Nxb610.Nb3 and wins the queen!
