Freshwater crocodile blocks road in Australia

(UPI) A driver on an Australian road had to get out of his car to chase off a freshwater crocodile that was blocking the road ahead of him.
A video filmed Dec. 8 on a road in the Northern Territory shows a crocodile standing in the middle of a road after dark.
"What we've got here is a really good example of a Northern Territory roadblock," the man says.
Seconds later, the crocodile takes off running and darts into the nearby water.
"I came across a bit of a roadblock! A freshwater crocodile was on the road in front of me, but as I approached it took off like lightning. The little buggers sure can move!" the filmer wrote.
