BALTIMORE -- Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is the cover athlete for Madden NFL 21, but that didn't earn him special treatment in the eyes of the video game's developers.

Jackson was given an overall rating of 94 in the game, which is set to be released Aug. 25. The reigning NFL Most Valuable Player isn't satisfied.

"I wish it was better," Jackson said on ESPN's "SportsCenter" on Monday night. "But, hey, it's better than it was last year. So, I guess we can roll with it."

Jackson broke Michael Vick's record for the most rushing yards by a quarterback in a single season, led the NFL in passing touchdowns (36) and pushed the Ravens to the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC with a franchise-best record of 14-2. But he's the third-ranked quarterback in the game, behind the Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes (99 overall) and the Seattle Seahawks' Russell Wilson (97). The New Orleans Saints' Drew Brees (93) and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' Tom Brady (90) round out the top five.

"I did a lot more than people expected, and our team did, so (the rating) should have been better, but it is what it is," Jackson said.

It's still a big leap for the Ravens star. Jackson entered last season with a 76 overall rating and was the 25th-best quarterback in the game, though he was the fastest QB with a 94 speed rating. His speed jumped to 96 this year, and he remains one of the most athletic players in the game with 96 acceleration, 95 agility and 92 throw power.

Ratings for offensive rookies and quarterbacks have been unveiled this week, with the full rosters set to be revealed during a "SportsCenter" special on Friday at 7 p.m. on ESPN. However, the top 10 players for each team have already leaked online.

Ravens second-round pick J.K. Dobbins is the highest-rated rookie running back with a 75 overall rating, including 91 speed, 90 acceleration, 87 agility and 87 carrying. Wide receiver Devin Duvernay, the Ravens' third-round pick, is 71 overall with a speed rating of 92, while sixth-round receiver James Proche is 65 overall with a speed rating of 88.

Here's the Ravens' top 10:

-- QB Lamar Jackson -- 94

-- LT Ronnie Stanley -- 93

-- S Earl Thomas -- 88

-- K Justin Tucker -- 87
