Yogurt with Fruit and Nuts

Say Cheese!

Getting your information from the internet can give you scary results. What do I mean by ‘scary’? I mean false. There are things published on the internet that are patently wrong. Reader beware.

On the other hand, the internet is the biggest source of information on the planet. I remember the days when that shelf that held up the encyclopedia set in the hallway outside my bedroom was my biggest source of information; that and our local library.

So much has changed.

The science has changed and so has the delivery mechanism. The entire world of libraries now sits on my desk. The internet can be just as much your friend as your foe. I, for one, cannot figure out how I ever lived without it.

Some things require countless hours because they are complicated; like homeopathy. Others take countless hours because you have to keep finding more and more references that support an idea you are considering. Yogurt with Fruit and Nuts

Servings: Serves 1

Ingredients:

½ cup of full fat Greek yogurt
½ tsp of vanilla (or to taste)
½ tsp of Truvia (or to taste)
Assorted berries and fruit pieces. Your choice and your amount. Ideas: blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, peach slices, plums slices, nectarines slices and more…
Assorted nuts. Your choice and your amount. Ideas: pecans, almonds, peanuts, macadamia nuts, hazelnuts and more…

Instructions:

In a bowl add your yogurt. Add the vanilla and the Truvia. Stir to blend all. The yogurt will be all nice and shiny. Toss on your fruit and your nuts.

You might think I’m a bit nuts but I LOVE the combo of raspberries and cocktail peanuts. The sweet and salty was wonderful. It reminded me of one of those Pay Day bars and so much more healthy!

Enjoy!
Cheers,
Zola
