How to Get Your Diet Covered by Your Insurance

Over a third of the American population is either overweight or even obese. That’s over 100 million people who would benefit from a diet. Take a look around. The problem is rampant.

The silver lining in all this is The American Medical Association is recognizing obesity as a disease. That makes insurance companies and doctors stand up and treat the issue differently. It’s no longer appropriate to tell a patient they are just “lazy” and “eating the wrong foods.” Now doctors can do something about it and insurance companies will step up to the plate.

If you are at the point where you’re ready to get on board and take a diet seriously, cost can be an obstacle. Good diets aren’t cheap.

This is a ZReboot 3.5 recipe. This almost the exact same recipe as one posted on a Paleo site. I adjusted it for Plan Z Dieters, changed it to banana peanut butter bars, but frankly, I hardly had to do a thing.

The best news is Bob’s Mill has come out with a “superfine” grind almond flour. It’s so smooth, it’s very much like wheat flour, only a yellow-ish color. It makes baked goods so tasty you’d hardly tell the difference. The older almond flour was denser so bars and cookies were less fluffy. This stuff is spot on and I use it for all of my baked goods now that call for almond flour.
