Fortify yourself during winter with this easy garlic soup recipe
1 medium carrot, peeled and cut into chunks
1 medium celery stalk, trimmed and cut into chunks
1 sprig fresh thyme
1/2 bay leaf
1 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
1 medium leek, trimmed, halved lengthwise, thoroughly rinsed, and cut into chunks
