Seriously Simple: This dish is an Indonesian delight

1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 small garlic clove, grated

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

 

2 tablespoons vegetable oil or coconut oil

For the peanut sauce:

1/4 cup finely chopped onion or shallots

1 garlic clove, minced
