Lisa Messinger

Lisa Messinger's expertise as a writer extends across many areas of the media. Since 1994, she has written the Cooks' Books column, and received recognition for food writing from the Association of Food Journalists. In addition, she served as food editor for 12 years for many daily newspapers, and has written four books, including the best-selling "The Tofu Book: The New American Cuisine."

Messinger's work has taken her around the world, as she travels to different countries writing about the world's top chefs.
