(UPI) Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals officers in Wales helped rescue a kitten that was dropped from the sky by seagulls.
A resident contacted the RSPCA after witnessing the tiny 4-week-old kitten being attacked by a flock of seagulls and dropped from the sky at Sandy Cove in Cymru on Wednesday afternoon.
"This poor kitten must have been through a terrifying ordeal – seemingly swooped upon by a gull, before being dropped to the ground," RSPCA animal collection officer William Galvin said.
Officers said the kitten was unhurt and was taken to the Bryn-Y-Maen Animal Center, where staff nicknamed her "Sky."
The RSPCA shared a video of Sky, who will remain at the shelter until she is ready to be placed for adoption.
"Sky is very young, and will now be hand-reared at our Animal Centre, and should be available for re-homing when she is old enough," Galvin said.
