These can cause choking and also obstruction or laceration of the digestive tract. Most owners don't purposely feed their cats bones; however, they can be consumed accidentally. Make sure that if you have food around that contains bones, it is out of your cat's reach.

2) Canned tuna (for human consumption)

Large amounts of canned tuna can cause malnutrition because it lacks proper amounts of vitamins and minerals.

3) Dog food

If your cat repeatedly finds his way to the dog food bowl, it could result in malnutrition and diseases affecting the heart. It can also cause digestive problems. You can prevent your cat from eating dog food by putting the dog food somewhere that is not accessible to the cat.

4) Fish (raw, canned, or cooked)

Fish is a food people often associate with cats but it is actually on the list of foods that are bad for cats. If your cat is fed fish in high amounts it can result in a thiamine deficiency leading to loss of appetite, seizures, and in severe cases, death.

5) Grapes, raisins, and currants
