Pour Moi wants to pay a taste tester

As fall approaches, so do the seasonal menus at coffee houses. Before long, baristas will be crafting up pumpkin spice delights by the dozen. One clothing company in England wants to capitalize on the trend by commissioning a pumpkin spice latte taste tester this year, and anyone around the world can apply.

“Considered to be the fall season in a cup and now synonymous with the joys of autumn, nearly every coffee shop has got on board with autumn’s top trending drink,” clothing brand Pour Moi said in a press release. “But, with so many places offering a Pumpkin Spice Latte or similar seasonal drinks, it can be hard to decipher the good from the bad — and nobody wants their first sip of the limited-edition coffee to be a bad one.

“So, to ensure you start autumn in the best way, we are looking to hire one lucky person to test all the Pumpkin Spice Lattes and seasonal drinks available in 2022.”

Applicants have through Sept. 30 to apply, at which point a winner will be selected at random. Applicants must be over 18 years old, but may live anywhere in the world — as long as limited edition fall drinks are available nearby.

Winners will be announced the week of Oct. 3.

The winner will be paid a salary of £300, or roughly $351, plus an allowance for buying the coffees. The winner will then be asked to taste each major coffee chain’s limited edition fall drinks, rate them, review them and then report back to Pour Moi.

The company is looking for applicants with an enthusiasm for fall and a “penchant for pumpkins.”
