LOS ANGELES -- Kaley Cuoco, who this week wrapped up a 12-season run on the sitcom "The Big Bang Theory," has put her Tarzana home on the market for $6.9 million.
Once owned by Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, the 8,000-square-foot home has seen some significant changes during Cuoco's five years of ownership. Living spaces once dominated by dark tones have been lightened, and such custom finishes as textured wallpaper, tumbled stone and mosaic accents now touch up the common rooms.
A dramatic rotunda foyer, complete with columns and a sweeping staircase, kicks things off. Farther in, there's a formal dining room under coffered ceilings, a center-island kitchen with a breakfast nook and a family room with a fireplace.
Another highlight comes in the step-down living room, which boasts a wet bar and swinging bench.
Six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a movie theater and office round out the two-story floor plan. Upstairs, a master suite with mirrored walls expands to a lounge and wraparound balcony.
A loggia lines the home's back side, opening up to a covered arbor, outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and spa. The landscaped grounds cover three-quarters of an acre.
Cuoco, 33, appeared in the series "8 Simple Rules" and "Charmed" before starring as Penny in "The Big Bang Theory." On the film side, her roles include "Authors Anonymous," "The Penthouse" and "The Wedding Ringer."
SELLING A FISTFUL OF COASTAL LOTS
Clint Eastwood's love affair with the coastal community of Carmel-by-the-Sea stretches back for decades. He filmed his directorial debut there. He was elected mayor there.
Now he's looking to sell some real estate there.
Tehama, a sustainable residential community owned by Eastwood's development company, features 90 home sites across 2,000 acres in the hills above Carmel. Sixty have been sold, and the development just put seven more up for sale for the first time in a decade.
The empty plots are aptly named after the terrain -- there's the Hilltop, the Promontory, the Summit, the Rock, the Forest, the Sanctuary and the Reserve -- and range from 5 to 24 acres. Prices start at $1.5 million and top out at $6.25 million.
The properties offer sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, consisting of rolling hills, wooded pastures and ocean vistas.
The community itself prioritizes a natural relationship with the land, and 85% of the 2,000 acres have been preserved as open space. In addition, there are solar panels, underground utilities and an on-site water source.
Amenities include a clubhouse, gym, pools, tennis courts, gated entrances and a golf course irrigated by the community's reclaimed water.
WRAPPING UP UNFINISHED BUSINESS
David Lee, the former basketball star who played for the Knicks and Warriors, has sold his unfinished condominium at the Sierra Towers in West Hollywood for $11million.
The transaction chalks up as a loss for the two-time all-star, who originally sought as much as $22.5million for the oversized spread. He bought the property in 2017 for $13.5 million.
Composed of three combined units, the roughly 5,500-square-foot condo takes up half a floor within the 31-story building.
During his ownership, Lee worked with Intension Design's Joseph Moore to remove walls and maximize unobstructed views extending from city to ocean. Floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors look onto a terrace balcony that runs the entire length of the unit.
Five covered parking spaces were included in the deal. The celebrity-popular building, which counts Cher, Matthew Perry and Lindsay Lohan among its former owners, features concierge services, a gym and a swimming pool.
Lee, 36, averaged 13.5 points and 8.8 rebounds across a dozen seasons with the Knicks, Warriors, Celtics, Mavericks and Spurs. The dynamic forward won an NCAA championship in 2005 with the Florida Gators.
In 2015, he won an NBA title with Golden State.
HIS MODERN SPOT ON THE ISLAND
The final season of "Modern Family" was announced earlier this year, and star Ed O'Neill will have a nice spot to kick back once it's all said and done. The actor recently paid $6.25 million for an ocean-view home in Hawaii.
Set on the 11th fairway of the Ke'Olu Golf Course in Kailua-Kona, the scenic estate overlooks the Pacific Ocean and takes in views of the Kohala volcano.
A gated entry and courtyard front the one-story home, which was built in 2008. Across 4,204 square feet, it holds four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a handful of airy indoor-outdoor living spaces.
At the heart of the home sits a great room with pocketing doors on both sides. One end opens to a landscaped garden, and the other expands to a backyard with a patio, lawn, swimming pool and spa.
Double islands anchor the kitchen, and elsewhere there's a small breakfast nook and media room under tray ceilings. African mahogany rings the common spaces. Vanilla travertine floors sit underneath. The master suite, complete with a free-standing tub and doorless shower, opens directly outside.
O'Neill, 73, has starred in a plethora of films and television shows since the 1980s. He was nominated for two Golden Globes for his role in the Fox sitcom "Married ... With Children" and three Primetime Emmy Awards for his role as the patriarch in "Modern Family."
RESTLESS FOR AN OFFER IN LAKE SHERWOOD
Joshua Morrow, known for his longtime role as Nicholas Newman on the daytime soap opera "The Young and the Restless," is looking to make a scene change near Westlake Village. He's listed his renovated home in guard-gated Lake Sherwood for sale at $4.995million.
The traditional-style house, built in 1995, was recently re-imagined and combines contemporary elements with East Coast-inspired design flair. A brick walkway leads up to the front of the stately two-story, which pairs white clapboard siding with powder-blue-hued shutters. Brick pedestals with lantern-style lights reinforce the classic look.
Inside, the house has about 6,000 square feet of crisp white living space, a two-story entry, a media room/den, an office, six bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. Coffered ceilings top the chef's kitchen and breakfast area, which has a marble-topped island/bar and a wine fridge.
The multiroom master suite features dual walk-in closets and French doors that open to an oversized balcony.
A covered and heated outdoor living room creates additional living space in the backyard. The house sits on nearly half an acre of grounds and has a new swimming pool and spa, a fire pit, a built-in barbecue and a four-car garage.
Morrow, 45, has starred in "The Young and the Restless" since 1994. In addition, he formed the boy band 3Deep in 1998, releasing an album titled "Yes Yes Yes ... No No No" the following year.
He bought the house a year ago for $3.295 million.
