2. Move

Our bodies need exercise to function properly, but many of us spend most of our time sitting around. It’s crucial that you get up and move every day, and for the best results, make time to exercise in one way or another several times a day.

There are so many options available to you in this category of healthy habits. You can run, walk, ride a bike, or do yoga. Make time to play with your kids or to meet a friend in a park to toss a frisbee or a ball around. Spend time outdoors on weekends, and you’ll naturally move more. Do whatever you can to get moving, and your body will thank you for it.

3. Eat Right

Junk food is pervasive in our society, and it’s so easy to make or buy and consume. However, you are doing your body a great disservice by turning to nutrient-deficient foods every time you want a meal or snack. You should be eating green, healthy things at most of your meals and junk food should be a rare treat that you enjoy only on special occasions.
