Pig leads pursuers on foot chase across lanes of West Virginia highway

An unusual rodeo-like scene played out an a West Virginia highway when a pig that apparently fell from a truck led several people on a foot chase.
Rodney Loftis captured video Monday showing several people chasing after the pig as it ran through the lanes of Interstate 64, near the exit for Cross Lanes.
"Here we go down the middle of 64. It looks like the county fair," Loftis says in the video. This is better than a rodeo.
He declared it an "only in West Virginia" scene.
The Dunbar Police Department responded to the scene, but the chase had ended and the participants dispersed by the time officers arrived.
Witnesses said the pig was one of three that fell from a truck. The porcine fugitive from the video and another of the animals were recaptured and taken to a veterinarian to be checked out.
