Student films rat inside Florida high school vending machine

(UPI) A student at a Florida high school captured video of a rat running around inside a vending machine located inside the facility.
Latoya Johnson shared a video she said was recorded by her daughter Tuesday at Atlantic Community High School in Delray Beach.
The video shows the rat climbing on the packaged food inside the machine. Students said the rodent was opening and eating some of the foods.
A Palm Beach County School District representative confirmed the incident and said the vending machine was locked after the rodent sighting to prevent it from being used.
The district said an exterminator was summoned to the school Tuesday afternoon and the vending machine company was contacted.
