Fishermen free whale shark from net in China

(UPI) A group of Chinese fishermen came to the rescue of a whale shark that became trapped in a fishing net.
A video filmed Monday off the coast of Yantai City, Shandong Province, shows fishermen using a stick to manipulate the net that ensnared the endangered whale shark.
The animal was freed after about two hours, the fishermen said.
The whale shark is the world's largest fish.
