Horse captured while running loose on Houston highway

(UPI) A surprised traveler on a Houston highway captured video of an apparent runaway horse being captured while running through lanes of traffic.
Tomas Huerta posted a video to Facebook showing the horse running in the northbound lanes of Highway 59, near Hopper Road.
The video shows the horse, which is wearing a saddle, being boxed in by two vehicles before a man reaches out from the passenger window of a vehicle and grabs hold of the equine's reins.
The vehicles then slowly guide the horse to the side of the road.
"Only in Houston you see a horse on the freeway trying to get home to watch the Rockets game," Huerta wrote.
It was unclear Monday how the horse escaped from its owner and ended up on the highway.
