South Carolina kangaroo escapes twice in two days

(UPI) A kangaroo was caught on video hopping around a South Carolina highway two days after a photo from its previous escape went viral.
A driver on Highway 28 in McCormick County captured video Thursday morning of the Australian animal hopping around to the surprise of witnesses.
The McCormick County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a call about the marsupial Thursday morning and the kangaroo was safely returned to its owner's farm.
The McCormick County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit posted a photo to Facebook two days earlier showing the kangaroo in the road in front of the deputy's car. The sheriff's office said the kangaroo's owner was identified and reunited with his pet.
