(UPI) Chefs at a British resort are attempting to break a world record for the largest serving of fish and chips, featuring a 61.4-pound fried halibut.

Guinness World Records said on Twitter that Resorts World Birmingham is making an attempt for the largest serving of fish and chips record.

The resort tweeted a video showing the 61.4-pound halibut fish filet being prepared for frying.

The current record, set in 2012 by Fish and Chips LTD in London, featured 42 pounds and 1 ounce of battered fish after frying as well as 63 pounds and 3 ounces of French fries.
