(UPI) A Texas Lottery jackpot was claimed right in the nick of time when a trust received $14.25 million only two days before the ticket was set to expire.

The AHSODESKA Trust, represented by Trustee Kim Fowlkes, chose the lump sum payment for the Lotto Texas jackpot, which came out to $10,072,040.86.

The ticket, purchased from the HEB Food Store in Abilene, was claimed Tuesday -- just two days before it would have expired and become worthless.

"On behalf of the Texas Lottery, I want to congratulate the AHSODESKA Trust on their luck and good

fortune," said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery.

The ticket matched all six numbers for the June 17 Lotto Texas drawing, 3-4-6-23-34-54.
