California hotel offering 'Mermaid Fitness' workouts

(UPI) A California hotel is offering a unique exercise class designed to build core strength -- "Mermaid Fitness" sessions in the hotel pool.
The Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego is offering Mermaid Fitness classes on Fridays and Saturdays in the accommodation's Beach Village pool.
The $25 price for each class includes rental of a mermaid tail -- participants who buy their own tails pay only $10 per class -- and a 45-minute mermaid swimming session.
The hotel describes the class as a "fusion of swimming, core, cardio and strength training set to upbeat music."
