(UPI) A worker switching out an air conditioning system at a Florida house shared video of a "secret room" he discovered that might have once hidden a murderer.
The video, recorded last month, shows the worker walking around the Plant City home and giving a tour of the secret room he found behind a false wall in the attic over the garage.
"I found a piece of wall that didn't look the same as the rest. I pushed on the wall revealing a secret room. Leading to the secret room was a carpeted walkway. When the secret rooms door was closed it didn't even look like it was there," the man wrote.
The room, which is carpeted, features stained wood walls, license plates hung up as apparent decoration, and even a makeshift toilet.
"There was a very grim of feeling about the place," the man wrote.
He said someone who saw the video sent him information indicating the room might have once been used by Dee Dee Miller, who was convicted in 2012 of swindling and murdering a lottery winner.
"I'm not sure what the secret room was used for, but if I had to guess I would guess it was from hiding out from the police," the man wrote.Copyright 2017 by United Press International
