VIDEO: Rat drags full garbage bag across New York street

(UPI) A woman in New York captured video of an industrious rat dragging a full garbage bag across a local sidewalk.
Leigh Conner spotted the large rat as it grasped the garbage bag in its jaw and attempted to carry it away from the curb.
"On my way to work and saw this gladiator at work," she said.
Conner compared the rat's Herculean effort to that of the infamous "pizza rat" and didn't want to pass up the opportunity to capture the moment.
"I got off my bike and watched it and when the rat crawled out of the trash bag and started dragging it, I stared at it in astonishment for like a full minute before I had the sense to film it," she told DNAInfo.
The rat ultimately managed to procure a personal pizza crust from the bag and drag it back to its domain, but was startled by Conner and ran away before getting to enjoy the feast.
