Daredevil BASE jumps from top of 40-story skyscraper in China

March 23 (UPI) -- A mystery daredevil in China pulled off a daring BASE jump from the top of a 40-story skyscraper in the city of Guangzhou.
The video, filmed from inside a near building, shows the man standing on the roof of the tower on Monday.
The jumper attracted shouts of concern from eyewitnesses when he leaped from the building. They laughed in relief when he popped his parachute and cruised to the ground.
The identity of the daredevil was unclear and it was not initially known whether police are investigating the incident.
