LEATHERHEAD, England (UPI) -- A British wildlife sanctuary shared video of three orphaned hedgehog babies sneezing while being marked with nail polish.

The Wildlife Aid sanctuary in Leatherhead, England, shared a video on YouTube showing the three hedgehogs being sexed and marked with nail polish so rescue workers can tell them apart.

The baby hedgehogs let out a series of tiny sneezes during the procedure.

"These three new orphan babies were abandoned by their mother, because she was disturbed in the shed where she gave birth. The hoglets were left alone for around 24h before they were brought to us. We are now taking good care of them by keeping them warm and feeding them every few hours. They are able to roll, scratch themselves and even sneeze!" the sanctuary said in the video's description.
