SARALAND, Ala. (UPI) -- A group of Alabama teenagers said their night of "rolling" houses was foiled when police stopped them from buying toilet paper.

Garrett Stephens and his friends said they went to the Saraland Walmart to buy large amounts of toilet paper for "rolling" houses, but the fun ended before it even began when police officers pulled them out of line and told them they could not buy the paper, WKRG-TV, Mobile, Ala., reported Thursday.

"It would be more normal if they caught us in the act of doing it. It would have been funnier to me if they waited till we started and just all swarmed us. That would have been more normal," Stephens said.

The teenagers said they were not arrested or cited, but the officers sent them home.
