DEAR STACY: Who are the biggest Twitter users among celebrities? -- L.M.
DEAR L.M.: Hmm. If you mean multiple accounts with many tweets related to selling product, then the list is going to have Kardashians at the top. If you mean celebrities who tweet their own observations and news out to the world on a regular basis, that list has Cher, Patton Oswalt, Tyrese, Bette Midler, Rosie O'Donnell, Rob Reiner and Joy Reid on it, and Alyssa Milano might just be at the top. She has put a lot of energy into advocating and sharing information on current issues, such as separation of families at the border. She noted, "Those that tell me not to tweet politics because I'm an uninformed celebrity are the same people that voted for... an uninformed celebrity." (Roseanne has been comparatively quiet since her fall from grace.) Now, If you're talking about the most popular celebs on Twitter, that's another different story. Katy Perry was the first to break 100 million in terms of followers -- and it's up to 110 million as I write this. There have been skeptics who say that the number is inflated by bots. I don't know, but I do know that it's more than double the followers of Twitter's most notorious celebrity, the tweeter in chief.
DEAR STACY: I was a fan of Daren Kagasoff during "The Secret Life of the American Teenager." What is he up to nowadays? -- Jan
DEAR JAN: Kagasoff is a part of the upcoming NBC drama series, "The Village," due to debut in spring. It follows the lives of a group of apartment residents in Brooklyn. His character is a law student with a "much older and unexpected" roommate, per network materials.
DEAR STACY: When will there be more episodes of "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"? -- D.K.
DEAR D.K.: Jan. 25, 2019 is the launch date set for the final episodes of the fourth season of the critically adored Ellie Kemper Netflix show. The show team, including creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, have indicated those will mark the series' end.
DEAR STACY: I saw a photo of Blythe Danner when she was young and she looked like a dead ringer for her daughter, Gwyneth Paltrow. Have mom and daughter ever worked together? -- D.R.
DEAR D.R.: Yes, in the 1992 TV movie, "Cruel Doubt" and then again in 2003, in the big-screen "Sylvia," in which Gwyneth played poet Sylvia Plath and Blythe portrayed her mother.Copyright 2018 Creators Syndicate Inc.
