from "It's Time"
Published in Poem Of The Day
The bird
called tomorrow
extends into
infinite presence
Its beak peeks
in & out of
an open cage
appearing to
be large &
too small
We have already
flown w/o
knowing what
it was called
About this poem
"A few years ago I was involved in an accident that impacted my memory in troubling yet interesting ways. 'It's Time' is a project that explores the subjectivity of time, memory and the wider social implications of how the momentary is perceived."
