In this, our "What would you do differently?" week, we have a position from 1932 between Rohacek and May. Black, in this position, exchanged queens and eventually lost. Can you improve on what he did?


Solution:

Black could have played 1...Rc1 2.Qxc1 Bf3+ 3.Kf1 Bxe2+ 4.Kxe2 Qxe5+ 5.Qe3 Qxb8 6.Qxe6 Qb2+ with a tough endgame in prospect, but chances to actually win, being a pawn up.
