We’re back in the real world of chess with over the board positions as opposed to last week’s composed problems. This game position is from one of Ding Liren’s games. He finishes the game with a nice conception that wins the Black queen. He’ll need some inspiration like that to overcome his rough start in the ongoing Candidates Tournament.

This was played in China in 2022. 1.Rxc6+ Kxc6 2.Ne5+ Kd5 3.Qb7+ and Black Resigned as he saw that taking the knight would lead to Qe7+ winning the queen. If he didn't take, that wouldn't go well either. 3...Kd6 4.Qc6+ Ke7 5.Qd7+ Kf6 6.Qf7+ Kxe5 7.Qe7+
