Today, we go from composed problems to the practical side of chess. This position, Szabo-Muhring, Zaandam, 1946, is level in material and White's queen is threatened. What did Grandmaster Szabo do achieve victory here?

Solution:

1. Ng5+ hxg5 (or fxg5)2. Re7+ Kf8 3. Qxg7#
