Last time out, you were required to conspire with Black to create a checkmate on the 5th move with the mating move being with the R on h1. Today, you get to try the same thing with the rook on a1.


I would think most found this one easier. Friday’s will be more challenging. The really clever among you will guess what you will be asked to do then! Today’s answer is 1.a4 c5 2.Ra3 Qa5 3.Rc3 Qb4 4.Rxc5 Qh4 5.Rxc8# Of course, there are other solutions as well. See you on Friday!
