White to Play

I really like this puzzle because players familiar with attacking might very well go down the wrong road here, or make the game last longer than I should.

The winning line from Kevorkov-Tarasov, USSR, 1950 was 1.Bd5+ cxd5 2.Rh8+ Kxh8 3.Qh5+ Kg8 4.Qh7+ Kf8 5.Rxf6+ Ke8 [5...gxf6 6.Qf7#; 5...Ke7 6.Qxg7+ Ke8 7.Rf8#]6.Qg8+ Ke7 7.Qf7# The bishop had to be sacrificed first because 1.Rh8+ Kxh8 2.Qh5+ Kg8 3.Qh7+ Kf8 4.Rxf6+ [White could even lose with 4.Qh8+ Ke7]4...gxf6 5.g7+ Ke8 6.g8Q+ Qxg8 7.Qxg8+ Ke7 8.Qg7+ Ke6 and the game is indeed won, but it’s taking too long.
