White to Play
Published in Chess Puzzles
This is one of those “theme” positions you have to know as an attacking player. White obviously has the advantage, but what’s the best way to finish off Black?
From Keller-Stehlik, Vienna, 1952 went: 1.Nf5+ gxf5 2.Qg5+ [2.h6+ Kh8 3.Qg5] 2...Kh8 3.h6 Rxc1+ 4.Rxc1 Rg8 5.Rc8 and Black Resigned as mate can’t be prevented.
