Published in Chess Puzzles

A game won by Cook in Bristol, UK, in 1906. White was giving knight odds to a weak player, so take the queen knight off the board to start the game.1.f4 d5 2.e3 c5 3.b3 e6 4.Bb2 Nf6 5.Nf3 Be7 6.Bd3 0–0 [So far, so good for the patzer; however, it doesn't last long.] 7.Ng5 g6 [Much better was 7...h6 since the played move gives White a target which he heads for on his very next move.]8.h4 Nh5?? [A fatal blunder. He could have stopped White dead in his tracks with 8...h5]SEE DIAGRAM
