We’re going to do things a little differently today. We’re going to give you a game in pieces. What move would you play here and why?


From Defosse-Frank, Brussels, 1942: 1. d4 Nf6 2. Nf3 e6 3. c4 b6 4. Nc3 Bb7 5. e3 Bb4 6. Qc2 Ne4 7. Bd3 f5 8. a3 Bxc3+ 9. bxc3 O-O 10. O-O Rf6 11. Nd2 Rh6 12. g3 (See Diagram) Qh4!! The next installment will be what happens if White takes the queen and what happens if White plays 13.Nf3?
