Last week of the bronze challenge! I hope all are scoring a 100%. We’re going to do 9, 11 and 12 this week to finish up. For this one, White wins, but do it in your head and then commit to writing them down on paper. There’s a reason.


The reason is to see whether you got greedy on move 4! If you took, it’s only a draw. 1.a4 h5 2.a5 h4 3.b6 axb6 4.a6 [4.axb6 h3 5.b7 h2 6.b8=Q h1=Q] 4...h3 5.a7 h2 6.a8=Q and wins.
