This is our last Q + P vs. Q ending for a while, but it’s a cute way to finish up. This happened in a real game: Podgaetz-Klovan, USSR, 1969. Black saved himself in a somewhat unexpected way and drew.

Solution:

Podgaetz – Klovan, Semi-Final USSR CH, 1969: 1...Ka5 2.b7+ Ka6 3.b8=N+ [3.b8=Q Qe6+ 4.Kxe6 Stalemate; 3.b8=R Qe6+ Stalemate]½–½ Q+N can’t win against the other queen.
