There is a bare number of pieces on the board, but this ending by Rinck could be a mind-boggling nightmare. One early conclusion you should reach is that you have to figure out how to win the black queen. There’s your hint!


Solution:

1.Qg4+ Ke5 [1...Kd3 2.Qe2+ Kc3 3.Qxa6]2.Qg5+ Ke4 3.Bg6+ Kd4 4.Qe3+ Kd5 5.Be4+ and wherever the king goes a check by White on the next move will win the black queen.
