On my facebook page, one of my posters put up the end of a 3-minute game they played. Wolff King Morrow was pretty deep into the game with probably a healthy chunk of his 3 minutes gone, yet he found a very pretty finish. You have less than 3 minutes to find it!
Solution:
Since our first problem of the week is for beginners, here is what you should have noticed: All checks and captures, Black’s pieces on the dark squares preventing escape that way and White’s pieces attacking many of the light squares preventing escape that way. Thus: 1.Qxf6+ Bxf6 2.Rxf6+ Ke7 3.Rxf7+ Ke6 [3...Kd6 4.R1f6#] 4.R1f6#
