This is from Robson-Perelshtyn, SPICE Cup, 2010. See? It even happens on grandmaster levels! Particularly instructive is how the B on e5 doesn’t move at all and yet plays a key role in the mates. Let’s hope you considered the two alternatives and didn’t just look at one line. 1.Qxh6+ Kg8 [1...Nh7 2.Qxh7#; 1...gxh6 2.Rg8#] 2.Rxg7+ Bxg7 3.Qxg7#
