VIDEO: Cat owner turns 50 cardboard boxes into elaborate maze

(UPI) A proud cat owner celebrated International Cat Day by building his pets an elaborate maze of cardboard boxes.
Chris Poole converted 50 cardboard boxes into a massive maze for his famous feline friends Cole and Marmalade.
Poole individually constructed the boxes, before cutting various holes in the sides and lining them up in a winding pattern throughout the room.
Marmalade was the first to enter the maze, but was shortly joined by Cole before the two began to leap from box to box.
While the pair initially seemed uninterested in playing by the rules and navigating the small cutout path Poole had created, Marmalade eventually began weaving through the openings as Cole watched from above.
The cats scoured the maze for treats and other goodies, until they eventually grew tired of the maze and decided to join Poole for some relaxation on the couch.
