VIDEO: Literal 'game of cat and mouse' recorded by police dashcam

March 16 (UPI) -- A Minnesota police officer who stopped for an animal running around in the road soon realized they were witnessing a literal "game of cat and mouse."
The Albert Lea Police Department released dashboard camera footage on Facebook from a patrol car driving on a road near the Fairgrounds after dark.
The car stops in the road as it approaches a small animal running frantically through the road.
The identity of the animal, a cat, soon becomes clear, as does its activity, chasing a mouse.
"A game of cat and mouse captured by squad video on Richway Dr. near the Fairgrounds," the department said.
